Tournify: Introducing registration forms

It has been about 15 days since I launched Tourify, a tournament management app for eSports games mainly PUBG, for public use. I am extremely happy to tell you that it has been growing slowly and steadily. In these 15 days, I received a good deal of feedback. A lot of users mailed me about the issues they faced and helped me in improving the web application. Above all, I would like to thank all of you for the support you have shown.

Based on feedback from several users I have added new features to Tournify. The most important feature of them is the registration forms.

Introducing registration forms in Tournify

Tired of adding all the team's details manually? If yes, then registration forms are here to rescue. Now, with every eSports tournament, you will get a dedicated web page. You can use this web page to add details and a pre-built registration form for your eSports Tournament. The best part is that the web page will be hosted on for free.

Use the tournament page as a single page website for your eSports Tournaments

You can add the description of the tournament on the web page created for your eSports tournament. For example, you can tell participating teams about the rules and regulations, timings, prizes, registration fees, and other details of your eSports Tournaments.

Straight forward registration form

The form has pre-built and simple. That means you don't have to go through the pain of adding input fields by yourself. I have kept the form as simple as possible because having a simple form makes it easier for teams to register. This results in a low probability of any team leaving the registration process. Though you can choose if the email id and phone number are required or not.

Protects your eSports Tournament from spam registration

To filter out spam registrations, teams are not added directly to your eSports tournament's team list. They are marked as pending. It all takes a single click to review and approve the form response.  After this, a team for the corresponding response will be automatically created.

Other features in the update:-

• Now details of a team can also be seen in the Team List. Buttons to call and Whatsapp the team have been added.
• Special characters in player names are now supported.
• Improved UI/UX of the web application.
